Having missed training on Tuesday, this was a much needed run out. A good walk first and then we stopped for some blind hides.

First was awkward as there was a dog walker near by, she raced to her to start with and then decided that wasn't her MISPER so didn't alert on her.
We then did another one a bit further away and that worked well.
Interestingly we had packed up and Mags hid for Edwina to trail. Didn't quite work as planned so we sent Isla to search for Mags. She did a fantastic job on the search/find and alert but took her time to then get back to Mags. It was a long distance and a long way off track. Really proud of her.
Radios really help to know she has found and to make sure she alerts.
Not sure how useful her GPS tracker is as it shows a heat map rather than where she actually goes.

In 2021 I got a puppy and in May 2022 I decided I'd like to train her to search for missing people. I'm fortunate enough to have wonderful support in Isla's training.
